When I built my first N-scale segment layout in 2014, I followed the MOROP NEM standards for European N scale (1:160). I continue to use the same approach when building my FREMO N-RE modules. Standardisation becomes even more important in FREMO, as every module must be able to connect and operate seamlessly with those built by other members. In addition to the MOROP NEM standards, each FREMO scale group also has its own standards and recommended practices that should be followed.

To make these standards easier to access, I have summarised the essential MOROP NEM standards for European N scale (1:160) here as a quick reference. A printable PDF version is also available for download. Depending on your own modelling interests, you may wish to consult additional NEM standards, which can be found on the MOROP website

Wichtige MOROP-NEM-Normen für die europäische Spur N (1:160)

Als ich 2014 meine erste N-Spur-Segmentanlage gebaut habe, habe ich mich an den MOROP-NEM-Normen für die europäische Spur N (1:160) orientiert. Dieses Vorgehen setze ich auch heute beim Bau meiner FREMO-N-RE-Module konsequent fort. Gerade im FREMO ist die Einhaltung gemeinsamer Standards besonders wichtig, denn alle Module müssen problemlos mit denen anderer Mitglieder kombiniert und gemeinsam betrieben werden können. Zusätzlich zu den MOROP-NEM-Normen gibt es innerhalb jeder FREMO-Baugröße weitere Standards und Empfehlungen, die ebenfalls berücksichtigt werden sollten.

Als schnelle Orientierung habe ich die wichtigsten MOROP-NEM-Normen für die europäische Spur N (1:160) hier zusammengefasst. Außerdem steht eine druckbare PDF-Version zum Download bereit. Je nach Schwerpunkt eures Modellbaus können auch weitere NEM-Normen interessant sein. Diese findet ihr auf der MOROP-Website.
